Coordination Services
The coordination services of Medical Advantage Barcelona have been designed to provide patient's with continued assistance and support whilst considering or receiving treatment in Barcelona and to also extend and complement existing international services offered by our associated hospitals and clinics.
Our services are provided by a dedicated team of Case and Patient Coordinators who are on hand to assist you with the arrangement of your treatment and related preparations. From the moment you make your initial enquiry to returning home post treatment, you will be guided through the entire process by our team of coordinators.
A Case Coordinator will manage and supervise your case and will ensure that all related details are addressed and taken care of before you travel to Barcelona for treatment. They are responsible for establishing and maintaining direct contact between you and your doctor, creating and executing the personalised treatment plan and providing family members and loved ones at home with frequent updates on your well being
The Patient Coordinator will meet you upon your arrival to Barcelona and will provide you and your travel companion continued support and assistance throughout the duration of your stay. They will ensure that you are accompanied to all hospital appointments and that you are assisted with the hospital registration and discharge process.
With excellent local knowledge, Patient Coordinators can also advise you and your travel companion on local services, activities, sightseeing tours and restaurants as well as making reservations on your behalf.
