The abdomen is formed by three anatomical elements that are skin, fat and muscle, having the three of them the same objective: obtaining a plain abdominal shape and a more firm appearance and a narrower waist.
Surgery
The required technique is performed under the effects of general anesthesia in the operating room and, afterwards, the patient is asked to stay in the hospital for 24 hours. The intervention normally lasts approximately two hours and in most cases it will be accompanied by a liposuction of the trunk and an incision at the suprapubic abdominal. The lipectomy will let the patient regain her original shape and strength before the pregnancy. Then the skin will be tightened and the excess of it will be removed.
Postoperative
During the immediate postoperative period, the patient will have to rest on and take the appropriate medication (analgesics, anti-inflammatories and antibiotics). In addition, a bandaging consisted of an abdominal belt will be applied on him and it should be worn for two weeks.
