The technique consists in remodeling the breast through the removal of the excess of skin and breast tissue (glandular and lipid). The scar will be placed around the areola, besides another vertical one that will be made in most of the cases. Our surgical technique preserves the sensitivity and allows breastfeeding. The intervention is performed under general anesthesia, lasting between two to four hours. It requires the ingress of the patient in the hospital for twenty-four hours.
Postoperative
The patient should carry out a relative rest of between 4-10 days and take anti-inflammatory and analgesic medication. The patient will be able to make normal life after approximately 15 days and to perform sport after a month. The stitches should be removed after between 7-21 day.
